Château NODOT - Medieval activities - The medieval harvest is a chance to pitch a medieval camp with some activities and pastimes from the Middle Ages, and to organise a medieval show in costume. This year we are going to celebrate a medieval mariage.

In 2008 the lord of NODOT dubbed Matthieu of Bousquet a knight, with all due ceremony. Then followed duels with broadsword and shield.

The medieval harvest is a chance to recreate some activities and pastimes from the Middle Ages:

- a calligraphy work shop
- a tavern with an open fire where delicious pastries can be had, prepared according to genuine recipes from the Middle Ages
- wooden board games
- an exhibition of arms

This year the lord will give his daughter's hand in marriage to Matthieu of Bousquet.
You are cordially invited to attend the medieval marriage on September 26th, 2009.
This event will be followed by knightly combat and a medieval banquet. The banquet will be waited on by costumed servitors. The rooms are lit by candles and furnished with tapestries and other medieval accoutrements.

Craftsmen come to exhibit and sell their wares.
